Robert Frosts Poetry Essay -- Robert Frost Nature Poems Poets Essays

Robert Frosts PoetryRobert Frost said that a poem should begin in bask and fetch up in perception Do you think that is align of the poems of Frost and the othernature poets you have studied?Frosts statement in the title is certainly true in some of his laterpoems and most nature poems, but in some cases, the wisdom comes firstand delight is found at the end or, on that point is no delight only wisdomor, just delight or just wisdom. Not all poems abide by Frosts ruleThe Pasture, being wizard of Frosts earlier poems, possibly waswritten before he made the statement in the title, as I am unable tofind any wisdom hidden amid the lines, only a great deal of delight. The poem is written using iambic metre, with a clear rhythm. In theeight lines he uses, he creates clear delightful images for thereader. The poem gravitates around the theme of a country farmersduties, except reading between the lines this farmer enjoys carryingout these duties. He says that he will only stop to rake the leavesaway which gives the impression of him really wanting to stop forlonger and perhaps do some other jobs. After cleaning the pasturespring he considers waiting to look out the water clear, this can beinterpreted in different ways. Perhaps he wanted to make sure he haddone the job properly, or it could be that he takes delight inwatching the waters clear and wants to wait watch it clear orperhaps it could be simply that he wants the importee to last, as heenjoys it so. In life I generally find that things I do not enjoy dragon and on, seemingly fetching longer that they actually are, yet thingsthat I enjoy seem to go faster. I shant be long indicates that heknows that he is going to enjoy his tasks an... ...poem,in fact that it surrounds the poem, with the delight vocabulary inamongst it. I consider the wisdom of this poem to be that we shouldall earn our life. Frost has demonstrated how the bird earns his, butit has raised the headland what do we do to earn ours. This is an interesting angle to look at life from and must not be over looked weshould all give something rachis to the Earth, and earn our livingspace. After studying all these poems, I am now far more aware of plenty ofpoints of view, thoughts and feelings. Each poem showed a differentaspect on life, even though the message in some was similar. Inconclusion, I deem the poets I have come across, exceedingly calculated, intelligent individuals, wishing to share their ideas on the worldwith others. Their use of poetry as their line of communication toexpress themselves, is incredibly good
